LMD Agency is an established, fast-paced, full-service marketing and branding firm headquartered in Columbia, Maryland seeking a talented Graphic Designer in the DMV to join its creative team. The candidate must possess superior Adobe Creative Suite skills with an emphasis on graphic design, illustration, and motion graphics; a keen eye for design; and critical thinking skills to join its award-winning team. This role is contingent upon LMD being awarded the federal contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide graphic design support as identified for publications, presentations, fact sheets, reports, and other communications materials to enhance the understanding of the client's goals, mission, and programs.
  • Create dynamic data visualization graphics.
  • Create infographics to visually depict program information for the intended audiences.
  • Create motion graphics and video animations.
  • Create graphics, icons, and other illustration material, digitally optimized and ready for web and print use.
  • Create or refresh templates for standard products such as fact sheets, brochures, flyers, and reports.
  • Establish a central repository, accessible by all employees, for creative asserts.
  • Provide design services for booths, displays, banners, and exhibits, including updating booth graphics as needed.
  • Ensure all graphics and products created are 508 compliant.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Currently holds, or is able to obtain, DHS Public Trust certification.
  • BS/BA in Fine Arts, Media and Design, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated excellence across all creative functions.
  • Print and web-related graphic design (full Adobe Suite).
  • Custom illustration (Adobe Illustrator).
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exhibit design and installation.
  • Photography post-production (Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom).
  • Videography post production (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder).
  • Creating, editing, and mixing audio (Adobe Audition, Audacity).
