Investigates, analyzes and reviews Artificial Intelligence (AI) Analytics for the research, development, and realized solutions to support the exploitation of the extraordinary volume and variety of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) communications and Cybersecurity. Analyzes data and creates research prototypes.

Capabilities
  • Under supervision, research and develops technically complex AI efforts
  • Performs research, design, development, and implementation activities for technically complex AI efforts under the routine direction of more senior technical staff

Required Qualifications

  • Comfortable with the research environment

  • Knowledge of and experience with current Machine Learning and Machine Translation technologies

    • Understanding of the encoder/decoder transformer architecture

    • Experience working with modern text processing pipelines

    • Understanding of text encoding vectors

    • Understanding of the differences between transformer architectures (like Marian) and Large Language Models.

    • Be able to explain the strengths and weaknesses of these two related architectures for Machine Translation

    • Ability to evaluate new tools and techniques related to MT

    • Ability to propose and implement enhancements to MT tools and processing flows

  • Experience working with Docker, defining, building, and testing containers for deployment.

  • Experienced in Python, C/C++

Pay Range: $82.05 - $111.11 per hour*
