As an Operations Coordinator at our Easter Wind Plant, you will play a key role in supporting the operation and maintenance of a renewable power generation facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance. Working closely with the Plant Manager, contractors, and operational stakeholders, you will help coordinate maintenance activities, support compliance programs, manage resources, and contribute to the ongoing success of plant operations.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate operations and maintenance activities for plant equipment, including balance of plant systems, substations, switchyards, collection systems, transmission infrastructure, and site facilities.

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) programs while promoting a strong safety culture and incident-free workplace.

  • Develop, maintain, and track operational and maintenance schedules, analyze performance against targets, and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Coordinate contractors, resources, materials, and equipment to ensure maintenance and operational activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

  • Support plant compliance programs, including environmental commitments, NERC requirements, equipment inspections, certifications, and regulatory reporting.

  • Prepare operational reports, maintain plant records and logs, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and assist with Oracle financial processes.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including operations teams, contractors, landowners, community representatives, and service providers, while providing on-call support for operational events and emergencies.

Who you are:

  • Minimum four years of industrial process plant, power generation, energy, or related operational experience.

  • Related university degree and fourplus years' experience OR sixplus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and maintaining an incident-free work environment.

  • Strong problem-solving, planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized business systems.

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting wind generation facilities, renewable energy assets, or power plant operations.

  • Technical trade education, apprenticeship, diploma, or certification.

  • Electrical education, certification, or experience working with high-voltage electrical systems.

  • Experience with contract administration, vendor management, and contractor oversight.

  • Knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance programs within an industrial environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in both office and field environments with frequent exposure to industrial equipment and outdoor conditions.

  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and precipitation.

  • Participation in an on-call rotation and availability to respond to plant emergencies and operational events outside normal business hours.

  • Periodic travel to support other Enbridge facilities and operational activities as required.

  • The successful candidate will undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to a 5-year driving record, criminal check, a company sponsored medical and drug testing.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 50 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. Ability to climb stairs and ladders 100 meters in height. Able to comply with safe work limits on equipment, including 300lb climbing weight limit (including person and gear)

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
