Permanent Family Medicine Physician
Specialty: Physician - Family Medicine
Location: Mount Morris, MI.
Shift: Monday – Friday | 40-hour weekly schedule with 36 patient-contact hours and 4 administrative hours

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult and Family Medicine patients
Setting: Outpatient Clinic

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-spectrum outpatient primary care services
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Conduct preventative care visits and wellness exams
  • Develop long-term treatment plans and coordinate patient care with specialists
  • Maintain accurate documentation utilizing EPIC EMR
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
  • Participate in shared on-call responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Support continuity of care and patient education initiatives

Required Procedures:

  • Preventative care visits
  • Annual wellness exams
  • Chronic disease management
  • Acute care management

EMR System: EPIC

Support Staff: Multidisciplinary care teams with clinical and administrative staff

Days Per Month:

On-Call/Weekends:

  • Shared call rotation required
  • No weekend requirements

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine – Required
  • Board Certification required within 3 years for Board Eligible candidates – Required
  • Michigan Medical License or willingness to obtain – Required
  • DEA certification – Required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CSL certifications – Required
  • Clean malpractice and licensing history – Required
  • EPIC EMR experience – Preferred
  • Candidate must be able to work Monday–Friday schedule – Required
  • H1B visa support requirement must be noted – Required
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days – Required
