Role Overview
The Employee Relations Specialist plays a critical role in fostering a positive, compliant, and productive workplace by supporting employee and management relationships across the organization. This position is responsible for conducting investigations, resolving workplace concerns, providing guidance on employee relations matters, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and employment practices. Through collaboration with leadership, HR partners, legal resources, and employees, the specialist helps strengthen organizational culture, reduce risk, support employee engagement, and promote fair and equitable workplace practices.
How You Will Make an Impact
  • Conduct employee relations investigations involving misconduct, harassment, discrimination, policy violations, and workplace concerns.
  • Partner with HR, legal, labor relations, compliance, and operational leaders to ensure thorough, timely, and objective case resolution.
  • Mediate workplace conflicts and facilitate effective communication between employees, managers, and leadership teams.
  • Support disciplinary actions, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers related to performance management, employee relations, and workplace best practices.
  • Develop and deliver training and communication programs that strengthen employee engagement, inclusion, and workplace culture.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and employee engagement efforts while promoting fairness, consistency, and accountability.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, mediation, human resources, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of employment practices, labor laws, workplace investigations, and employee relations best practices.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; bilingual English and Spanish skills preferred.

Work Environment & Preferences
  • Work Model: Remote
  • Preferred Schedule: Monday through Friday during standard business hours
  • Travel Requirements: 15-20% travel for meetings, investigations, conferences, and business needs
  • Physical Requirements: Primarily remote and office-based work requiring extended computer use, virtual meetings, communication, analysis, documentation, and occasional travel.
