Job Description:

The Global Onboarding Program Manager is responsible for designing, leading, and continuously improving the end-to-end onboarding experience for new team members globally. This role ensures a consistent, engaging, and scalable onboarding journey that accelerates productivity, strengthens culture and belonging, and delivers an exceptional employee experience from offer acceptance through successful integration into the organization. The role partners closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, Business Leaders, IT, Facilities, Learning & Development, and Executive Leadership to create world-class onboarding experiences for all employee populations, including executive hires.

Responsibilities:

Global Onboarding Strategy & Program Management

  • Develop and execute the global onboarding strategy aligned with business objectives and employee experience goals.
  • Lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of global onboarding programs and standards.
  • Establish scalable onboarding processes, tools, policies, and success measures across regions.
  • Own the end-to-end onboarding journey from pre-boarding through successful employee integration.
  • Design and deliver engaging Day 1 experiences that reinforce culture, values, and organizational expectations.
  • Create structured onboarding journeys and milestones to support employee success during the first 30, 60, and 90 days.
  • Lead executive onboarding programs for Director-level and above hires, ensuring accelerated integration and effectiveness.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, IT, Facilities, Security, Payroll, and business leaders to ensure seamless onboarding delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding strategy, governance, escalations, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Utilize employee feedback, survey insights, and operational data to enhance onboarding effectiveness and employee outcomes.
  • Define, monitor, and report onboarding KPIs, including readiness, engagement, productivity, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and scalable solutions that improve onboarding efficiency, consistency, and overall employee experience.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree preferred
  • Typically 8-10 years of experience in an HR function and/or a generalist role, with experience assessing, developing, and selecting talent preferred.
  • Experience delivering complex programs to a large business, preferably regional.
  • Experience in team management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated personal leadership skills. Strong influencer, collaborator, and communicator.
  • Good project management and process development skills.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Good budget management and accounting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of talent management practices regionally.
