Job Description

Operator Associate (Poly - C Shift) | Now Hiring | Corsicana, TX

Compensation:

  • Starting rate $20.28 - $22.63/hour depending on experience ($1.50 shift differential)

Shifts Available: Days

  • 7:00pm - 7:00am 
Job Description:
  • Operate assigned Cup Forming Machines at required rate
  • Starts and stops machine
  • Perform maintenance tasks including but not limited to changing hoses, valves, molds, and machine parts
  • Monitor all machinery operations and bagging equipment operations on a continuous basis for quality and efficiency.
  • Diagnose/troubleshoot mechanical machine problems and adjusts correct machine problems and maintains run rates.
  • Perform necessary line adjustments to maintain and/ or improve product quality
  • Maintain run efficiencies established for the line and products.
  • Perform material tasks related to the pre-expansion area
  • Perform tasks related to baggers and automation
  • Complete paperwork including but not limited to , Quality Checks, and other forms as required
  • Promptly communicates to supervisor any issues concerning health and safety, hygiene, quality and efficiencies.
  • Maintain housekeeping around the assigned line.
  • Follow company safety procedures and policies
  • Assist other operators

Communicate production information both written and verbal

Qualifications:

High school diploma preferred.

  • Ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively as a part of a team is essential
  • Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed
  • Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours due to the nature of the work
  • Must be able to wear the required PPE to enter the plant/complete the tasks
  • We expect regular and timely attendance to avoid disruption to the team and the line.
  • Machine operator experience or equivalent maintenance/ mechanical experience
  • Demonstrated mechanical experience required.
  • Must have good communication skills-written and verbal and be able to demonstrate basic math proficiency.
  • Must be able to use tools as required.
