Job description

Embroidery Machine Operator
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detailoriented Embroidery Machine Operator. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain industrial embroidery machines to produce highquality decorated garments and textile products. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, excellent color coordination, and the ability to meet both quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Review embroidery work orders to determine design type, placement, size, and thread color.
  2. Select appropriate thread colors and sizes, properly thread machines, bobbins, and guides.
  3. Hoop, align, and secure garments or fabric for accurate design placement.
  4. Set, adjust, and regulate machine settings (tension, speed, trims, etc.) as needed.
  5. Operate single- and multihead automatic embroidery machines to produce designs per specifications.
  6. Monitor machine operation to identify defects, thread breaks, or production errors; make minor adjustments as needed.
  7. Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all items.
  8. Perform repairs on defective embroidery or incomplete stitching when required.
  9. Conduct routine machine maintenance, cleaning, threading, and upkeep.
  10. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  11. Assist with additional production tasks or duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • High level of selfmotivation and professionalism.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating industrial embroidery machines.

  • Experience in apparel decoration (screen printing, heat press, vinyl, etc.) preferred.
  • Graphic design or digitizing knowledge is a plus.
  • Must pass all preemployment requirements, including background check and preemployment/random drug screening per company policy.
