Job Duties:
These positions report to garment factories at the Hilltop Unit, Hughes Unit, McConnell, and Wainwright Unit. Depending on the position you are selected for, will determine the factory you report to. Duties include oversight of the garment factory operations and direct supervision of incarcerated inmates. These garment factories are responsible for the manufacturing and production of inmate clothing for the agency. Daytoday functions include oversight of the garment factory operations and security of the factory, and as well as administrative duties.
You'd be a GOOD fit if:
You have a high school diploma or GED and meet one of the qualifying experience pathways: one year of garment manufacturing experience, three years of production or manufacturing experience, or 60 college hours plus one year of production or manufacturing experience. You are securityยฟminded, committed to accomplishing goals, and bring the reliability and focus needed to succeed in a correctional manufacturing environment.
