We produce all of our printed apparel in our production facility in Michigan & with 55,000 SF of screen printing and embroidery production and over 250+ employees. We consistently rank in the top 10 largest screen printers by volume in the U.S. and are one of the fastest growing online clothing retailers.


We serve both B2C and B2B customers such as non profits, retailers, and Universities through our 22 store and office locations across the United States. Additionally we help brands and licensors sell online both through company branded and marketplace websites.


We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Embroidery Machine Operator for our Ypsilanti production facility and warehouse!

This is an entry-level position with room for advancement! Prior experience in a production environment is not necessary. This position starts at $16 per hour with the opportunity for advancement every 6 months. We provide on the job, paid training!

As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you will work in a production-based, high-output environment to produce custom decorated garments using Tajima Embroidery Machines. While art knowledge is a key foundation to the position, candidates should be hard-working and able to handle a deadline-driven production schedule. This is not a design position; you will be making an actual product!


Ten days of paid time off and 7 paid holidays are given to all full-time Team Members, with the opportunity to earn raises, promotions and additional PTO. Requirements

Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Apps. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator CS3 (and above), and Adobe Photoshop CS3 (and above) is also a big plus!


The qualified candidate must be able to work on their feet all day, have the ability to lift boxes up to 50 lbs., be able to work independently, but also in a team setting. Team members with great attendance and a strong work ethic will thrive at UGP!
