OUR TEAM AND SUCCESS
At Quince, you will be part of a high-performing team that is redefining what quality, value, and sustainability mean in modern retail. We are a destination for builders, innovators, and operators to come together and challenge the status quo. Our collective ambition is bold. We are creating an entirely new category and customer experience - one that democratizes luxury and provides high quality products at radically low prices. That mission demands a world-class team committed to excellence.
If you are motivated by impact, growth, and purpose, you will find a strong sense of belonging at Quince.
THE ROLE
Production Associate, Decoration
Quince is hiring a Production Associate, Decoration to be a critical utility player across our entire production operation. You'll work across pre-production order staging, machine support, post-decoration finishing, and quality control - adapting daily to where the floor needs you most. On a high-volume floor, you'll stage orders for machine operators one hour, trim and inspect finished goods the next, and support operators with setup and supplies the next. You'll report to the Production Lead and partner closely with the Warehouse + Receiving Lead, machine operators, and the Shipping + Fulfillment Coordinator to keep production moving seamlessly.
Your success means faster order turnaround, zero quality gaps, operators who never stop working because they have what they need, and a clean, organized production floor. You're the backbone of production efficiency.
This is a fully on-site role, Monday through Friday during regular business hours in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
Responsibilities
  • Stage and validate orders for production - confirm all inventory and materials were received, verify work instructions and machine locations are clear, check that threads and supplies are in stock, and ensure the order is ready for operators to pull and produce.
  • Trim threads, backing, and excess materials from embroidered and decorated goods immediately after decoration - keeping pace with machine output so finished goods do not back up.
  • Inspect every decorated piece against the job ticket: placement, adhesion, color accuracy, and overall appearance.
  • Pull and set aside any defective or non-conforming pieces; log defect type, quantity, and job number and hand off to the Production Lead for disposition.
  • Fold, bag, tag, or poly-bag finished pieces per job ticket and customer specifications (pending packing team rollout); ensure all finished goods are presentation-ready before moving to the handoff area for Shipping.
  • Assist machine operators - embroidery, heat transfer, DTG, and screen print - with loading, unloading, setup, and in-process support as needed throughout the shift.
  • Restock machine supplies (thread, backing, transfer paper, tape, polybags, etc.) proactively so operators stay running without interruption.
  • Support the Warehouse + Receiving Lead with job staging, material pulls, and receiving tasks during high-volume periods.
  • Assist the Shipping + Fulfillment Coordinator with packing and order handoffs when finishing volume allows.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities - the Production Lead will direct where support is most needed at any given time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor throughout the shift.

Qualifications
Required:
  • 1+ year of experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment.
  • Ability to stand, move, and work on your feet for a full shift (8+ hours).
  • Strong attention to detail - you catch what's off and you don't let it slide.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and quality at a consistent production pace.
  • Adaptable and self-directed - comfortable shifting between tasks as the floor demands.
  • Reliable and punctual; production schedules depend on everyone showing up and staying focused.

Preferred:
  • Experience in a production, apparel, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with embroidery, screen printing, heat transfer, or decorated apparel finishing.
  • Experience with quality inspection or production order workflows.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Fully on-site production floor role.
  • Must be able to stand and move throughout the full shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. regularly.
  • Manual dexterity required for trimming and finishing tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a production environment with machinery noise, heat press equipment, and production materials.

Pay Range: $22 - 23/hour with overtime opportunities available
All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
Pay Range
$45,000-$48,000 USD
