Job description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Fuse Operator to join a collaborative manufacturing team supporting high-reliability electronic component production. requirements.

Pay Rate: $19-$25/hour DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st shift

The Fuse Operator will work with the Product Line Manager, Process Engineer, and other Manufacturing Operators and Technicians to ensure that the manufacturing of the components are completed in a timely fashion according to the required manufacturing schedule and that all company and customer requirements for quality and reliability are met or exceeded.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Use microscope to complete visual inspection of parts in accordance with SOP’s.
  • Use small hand tools such as tweezers, pliers, and precision cutting tools.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment such as thick film printers, solder paste dispensers, reflow ovens, molding machines, curing ovens, vapor degreasers and computers.
  • Escalate equipment issues to the maintenance team through verbal and written communication.
  • Verbal or written communication of problems to manufacturing leadership and assistance in identifying process variables to bring about resolution.
  • Complete paperwork such as production travelers, inspection records, and test reports to ensure effective communication and reliable documentation.
  • Utilize computer-based programs and systems to collect and evaluate manufacturing data and make in-process adjustments when necessary
  • Support additional production and operational duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Entry-level position requiring less than one year of experience

  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in manufacturing and/or the aerospace industry preferred
