Job description

Lion DTF Transfers is a fast-growing DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfer supplier serving screen printers, embroidery shops, print brokers, and apparel brands across the country. We're known for vibrant color, fast turnaround, and a team that treats every order like it matters — because it does. As we expand (including our new Nashville, TN location), we're looking for a hands-on Printer Operator to help us keep up with demand without sacrificing the quality our customers count on.
What You'll Do
-Operate and maintain DTF printers to produce high-quality, full-color transfers on film
-Apply adhesive powder and manage curing to spec for consistent, durable results
-Monitor print runs for color accuracy, resolution, and registration — catching issues before they leave the floor
-Perform routine printer maintenance and troubleshoot common print issues (banding, misfeeds, ink clogs, etc.)
-Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked with film and ink
-Work closely with our QC/shipping team to make sure every order ships accurately and on time
-Help us hit our 1-business-day turnaround standard on print-ready orders
What We're Looking For
-Experience operating inkjet, DTF, DTG, or similar large-format printers (DTF experience a big plus, but not required — we'll train the right person)
-A sharp eye for color, detail, and quality control
-Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
-Reliable, on-time, and able to work well as part of a small, tight-knit team
-Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20-30 lbs (film rolls, supplies, etc.)
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Familiarity with heat press application and garment decoration
Experience with gang sheet layout or RIP software
Why Lion DTF
Join a lean, hands-on team where your work directly impacts customer satisfaction — not a cog-in-a-machine role
Room to grow as we scale into new markets
A company genuinely obsessed with quality and building lasting relationships — with customers and with our team.
