Embers Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team in Joliet, Illinois. This full-time position allows for remote work while providing vital mental health services to individuals and families. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused techniques.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborating effectively with healthcare teams to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and well-rounded care.
• Participating in ongoing professional development activities and workshops to stay informed about the latest mental health research and therapeutic practices.

Your role primarily involves serving a diverse patient population that includes individuals experiencing various mental health challenges. We prioritize providing care for clients who have limited access to mental health resources, ensuring they receive the attention and support they need to thrive.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted LCPC license in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.

While not mandatory, the following are highly preferred:

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care.
• Proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, depending on experience and caseload availability. Our compensation package includes:
