Front Desk Attendant
The Front Desk Attendant registers members and guests as they enter the facility, enforces policies and procedures of the facility and knows current events and promotions of the facility.
The Front Desk Attendant:
- Registers members and guests as they enter the facility.
- Enforces the policies and procedures of the facility.
- Knows the current events and promotions of the facility.
- Receives and accounts for all cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Explains and promotes all services to potential members.
- Promotes all club activities and programs to the members.
- Maintains and performs housekeeping duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Makes membership cards; takes pictures.
- Operates cash register in Point-of-Sale accurately.
- Answers the telephone promptly and takes proper messages.
- Works scheduled shifts and finds own replacement if unable to work.
- Orients members to equipment as needed.
- Enforces program policies and procedures.
- Reports equipment problems or malfunctions to Supervisor.
- Makes coffee and puts juice out when applicable for the members.
Education: Minimum 2 years of high school education. Work permit required if under 18 years of age.
Experience: None
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: AHA BLS-HCP certification may be required. Other: Must be at least 16 years of age.
