Nature of Work Reports To: First Lady and The Governor Position Summary: The Governor's Office is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Mansion Director to serve as a front-facing representative of the Mansion and its initiatives. This individual will engage with the public and coordinate events with professionalism and minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Examples of Work Key Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for public inquiries and visitors to the Governor's Mansion. Coordinate logistics and planning for special events, tours, and official functions at the Mansion ensuring that all events are executed professionally and seamlessly. Draft, edit, and manage written correspondence.

Represent the Mansion at public and ceremonial events, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere. Ensure the protection and preservation of all articles of furniture, fixtures, table linens, silver, china, crystal, and objects of art displayed in the state rooms and public areas of the Mansion. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for communications, schedules, and reports.

Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.) for documentation, scheduling, and collaboration. Work independently to complete projects and respond to emerging priorities with minimal supervision. Minimum Qualifications Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in public engagement, communications, event planning, or a similar role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience managing social media platforms in a professional capacity. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; able to manage multiple deadlines in a high-energy setting.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail). Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels, including dignitaries and members of the public.Preferred Skills: Prior experience coordinating and executing high-profile functions and events

Prior experience working in a governmental or political setting. Other Information Work Environment: On-site at the Governor's Office with occasional evening or weekend hours for events. Some travel or off-site coordination may be required.

Valid driver's license required. Salary - $70,000 or commensurate with experience
