Embers Counseling Center, located in Rockford, Washington, is seeking a dedicated Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our compassionate team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create individualized therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, family counseling, and couples therapy, employing diverse therapeutic techniques to achieve effective outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies to promote client success.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay current with advancements in mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population including children, adolescents, adults, and families who face a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. By employing a client-centered approach, you will help empower clients to pursue their personal goals and navigate their individual challenges successfully.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, particularly within a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to psychological practice.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technological tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. In addition to a favorable compensation package, employees have access to health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as malpractice insurance. We also provide client referrals and support with billing and documentation to optimize your workload.
