Overview

In the digital area, we are looking for a profile specialized in development, quality assurance (QA), and HTML email management. The goal is to ensure that our communications are displayed correctly across different email clients. The candidate will join a senior development team, collaborating with visual editors such as Dartagnan or Litmus, as well as with custom-built frameworks to ensure maximum efficiency.

As an HTML Email Developer, you will be responsible for designing and coding emails using predefined templates. Your role will include ensuring that emails meet market requirements and are delivered within established deadlines. You will join a team dedicated to implementing CRM campaigns and triggers for a client operating in more than 25 countries and managing over 30 brands. Additionally, you will be part of a multidisciplinary development team that works for all Publicis Groupe clients.

Responsibilities
  • Developing HTML pieces from the specific assets of each market and brand, using visual editors such as Dartagnan, as well as design tools like PSD, Figma, and XD.
  • Ensuring emails adapt properly for viewing on mobile devices, desktops, and the most popular email clients.
  • Designing emails from PSD, XD files, or PPT briefs to their final version in HTML/CSS.
  • Ensuring consistency between the designs and the final HTML output.
  • Validating that email rendering is consistent across the most widely used email clients.
  • Managing a creative asset library in Dartagnan, facilitating both your own work and the team's organization.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in web/email development.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML rendering and behavior across different email clients.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS.
  • Proficiency in Adobe XD / Figma / Photoshop.
  • English level B2 or higher (written and spoken).

Additional Valued Skills

  • Experience with email testing tools such as Litmus or Email On Acid.
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
  • JavaScript skills.
  • Experience or knowledge of package managers (Node, Pip, Bower, etc.).
  • Experience in developing single-page applications (SPA) and using class-naming methodologies such as BEM.
  • Previous experience in digital marketing agencies.
  • Familiarity with visual email or content management tools.
