Job description

Amergis Staffing is currently seeking School Aide for the 2026/27 school year in the Chula Vista, CA area.

Position Details: Must have at least 6 months of experience working with kids

Hours/Week: 30 hours weekly (sub role/ must be okay getting a call the morning of)

Start Date: July 30th, 2026

Length: 26/27 School Year

Details: Grade Level: Elementary School, in person,

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.  The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements   
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
