The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Elementary Library Clerk.
The elementary library clerk supports the daily functioning of the school library, provides clerical support to the school librarian, assists patrons with library services, and supervises students.
See attached job description for more details.
This is a part-time (40% status), on-site, permanent position that will work at Howe, Lincoln, and Washington Elementary Schools.
This assignment works 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, during the regular school year.
Starting rates are either $17.09 or $17.59 per hour for new hires to the District, depending upon previous school district experience.
This position is eligible for sick days, but is not eligible for personal days or subsidized health insurance benefits.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree or better preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service and/or clerical or library, clerical or office support experience; or a combination of experience and training.
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Computer proficiency needed. Experience with Google Apps helpful.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible for employment, the following clearances must be furnished and approved for hire at time of job offer:

  • FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)

The following additional trainings and forms are required upon hire:

  • School Personnel Health Record (Physical with TB Test)
  • Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
