Job description

Seeking a Reyes Academy Training Instructor to travel across the designated region to train, influence, and make an impact to multiple employees in a variety of roles.
Shift: Full-Time l Any-Must be flexible based on training needs
Pay: $71,000-$115,000/yr based on skills and qualifications + 10% annual bonus potential

Position Responsibilities:
  • The Reyes Academy Instructor will train and evaluate Reyes Academy participants through a rigorous curriculum and testing, while occasionally supporting safety and training initiatives through site visits to enhance overall driving skills, safety, and compliance
  • As a Reyes Academy Instructor, you will work with academy leadership and local managers to determine training needs, develop relevant training offerings, and schedule training sessions
  • You will conduct seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions, ensure electronic databases used to track participants' performance are updated, and assist in designing effective training programs
  • You will manage training, travel, and entertainment budgets for yourself and training expenditures, and assist in the selection and booking of venues and facilities
  • You will promptly report and investigate any incidents, accidents, and/or injuries, and take full accountability for the driver readiness evaluation process, ensuring driver readiness prior to student handoff to the business unit
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ability to travel across designated region up to 80% throughout the year
  • Class A Commercial Drivers License or willingness to obtain within six months of hire

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 to 6 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma or Technical School Certification with 7 to 9 plus years of specific experience
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
