The Tolling Industry Consultant will support the design and implementation of business changes that drive transformation in tolling agencies and transportation authorities, focusing on tasks relating to people, process, and technology. Working as part of a collaborative team, the Consultant will contribute to client engagements across back-office operations, customer service, and roadside systems, developing foundational tolling domain knowledge while delivering meaningful outcomes under the guidance of senior practitioners.

Ability to travel 75-100%.

Here's What You Need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of public service, transportation, or tolling industry experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting large-scale operational or technology engagements

  • Foundational knowledge of the tolling industry, including an awareness of back-office systems (billing, account management, customer service platforms), roadside systems (transponders, gantries, toll collection equipment), and customer service operations

Bonus Points If:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • You have consulting or advisory experience in a transportation or tolling context

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team structure, contributing to workstreams and meeting project deadlines

  • Awareness of the competitive landscape in the tolling industry, including key vendors, technology providers, and peer agencies

  • Curiosity about emerging innovations in tolling, such as all-electronic tolling (AET), cashless tolling, interoperability standards, and connected vehicle technologies

  • You have hands-on exposure to tolling back-office platforms or roadside technology deployments

  • You bring innovative ideas and a continuous improvement mindset to client projects

  • You have experience supporting client-facing presentations or stakeholder workshops
