As a Quality Engineer in Brooksville, FL, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our Aerospace & Defense customers receive products that meet rigorous industry and regulatory standards. You'll lead initiatives in quality assurance, process optimization, and continuous improvement to maintain our reputation for excellence and reliability. Your expertise helps ensure that the systems we build protect lives, enable critical missions, and strengthen global security.
Position: Quality Engineer- Electronics Manufacturing
Manufacturing Plant Location: Brooksville, FL
This is an on-site position.
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
  • Assure compliance to all Internal Policies and Procedures as well as to all External Standards (QSR, AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485).
  • Assist in the creation of quality, verification, and validation plans/protocols.
  • Facilitate process and product corrective actions and problem-solving activities.
  • Production process review and auditing.
  • Monitoring and reporting on quality metrics.
  • Monitor and assess of effectivity of implemented corrective and preventative actions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements to the quality system and propose solutions.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and auditing of the Quality Management system.
  • Assist in development and implementation of applicable processes to meet Customer requirements, including training, problem solving, and review meetings.
  • Drive continuous improvement across facility Key Process Indicators.
  • Participate on cross functional teams to assist with design activities, new product introductions, software upgrades and compliance to new regulations.

Requirements
The experience we're looking for to add to the team:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering field or STEM area of study deemed acceptable by the hiring team.
  • 3+ years engineering experience in related Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) position.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent customer communication skills.
  • Capacity to facilitate problem solving and risk activities on a cross functional team. Effective communication skills driven by attention to detail.
  • Experience in risk evaluation techniques, DFMEA, PFMEA & fault tree analysis.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and supplier management.
  • Excellent analytical skills using Six Sigma and Lean Principles.
  • Good working knowledge of quality/reliability engineering statistical techniques.
  • Self-motivated and self-managed.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • Printed electronic circuit board assembly industry experience (IPC and J-STD) highly desired.
  • Due to ITAR regulations you must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder. We can not sponsor Visas.
