ShiftJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced RF Repair Technician to support repair operations for electronic equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying printed circuit boards (PCBs) and set-top box (STB) units at the component level. Candidates should have strong RF knowledge, hands-on soldering experience, and the ability to work with electronic transmission equipment such as radio antennas and amplifier transmitters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair of PCBs
  • Repair, modify, and replace components on electronic circuit boards and STB units
  • Conduct thru-hole and surface-mount soldering repairs
  • Diagnose RF transmission, amplification, and receiving circuitry issues
  • Work on radio antennas and amplifier transmitters
  • Use testing equipment to troubleshoot and validate repairs
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and data entry records
  • Navigate computer systems and applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Work safely around heavy electronic equipment
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in thru-hole and surface-mount soldering
  • Strong experience in component-level PCB repair
  • Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) systems/circuitry
  • Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components
  • Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must be comfortable working with heavy electronic equipment (50+ lbs equipment handling, no lifting required)
