Electrical Tester / Commissioning Manager


Atlanta, Georgia


Currently supporting a major data centre project in Atlanta looking for an experienced Electrical Tester / Commissioning Manager to join the team on an ASAP start.


This is a long-term opportunity working within a mission critical environment supporting electrical testing, commissioning, and turnover activities across the project.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee electrical testing and commissioning activities onsite

• Support energization, startup, and commissioning of critical electrical systems

• Carry out and review electrical testing procedures across MV/LV systems

• Perform thermal imaging inspections and reporting across installed systems

• Coordinate alongside QA/QC, construction, and commissioning teams

• Ensure all systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in line with project standards

• Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution during commissioning phases

• Review and maintain commissioning documentation, test packs, and reports

• Support project turnover and client handover processes


Requirements:

• Previous experience within data centre or mission critical environments

• Strong electrical testing and commissioning background

• Experience working with switchgear, UPS systems, transformers, generators, and distribution systems

• Thermal Imaging Certification required

• Ability to work within fast-paced live construction environments

• Strong communication and coordination skills
