Job description

We are seeking an experienced RF Test Technician to support the testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and optimization of RF systems and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF electronics, system-level testing, and component-level troubleshooting, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform advanced RF testing of products and assemblies operating within the MHz to GHz frequency range. Conduct automated system-level testing and calibration using Windows-based test platforms. Troubleshoot RF assemblies and electronic circuits to the component level. Analyze test results and identify root causes of performance issues. Install software and configure Windows-based systems used for testing and production. Tune and adjust component values to optimize RF amplifier and system performance. Maintain accurate test records and documentation in compliance with quality standards. Complete Test Data Records and other required production and quality documentation. Ensure proper control and organization of test data and related records. Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to prioritize and complete daily and weekly assignments. Follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements throughout the testing process. Required Qualifications Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related technical field, or a technical certificate in Electronics. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing, testing, or RF environment. Strong background in RF systems and electronic test methodologies. Proficiency in the use of RF test equipment, including: Spectrum Analyzers Signal Generators Network Analyzers Frequency Counters Power Meters Related RF measurement instruments Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, test procedures, and technical documentation. Secret level US Government Security Clearance is a plus! Technical Skills Solid understanding of RF circuitry, including: Amplifiers Mixers Couplers Filters Other RF components Knowledge of RF performance characteristics and measurements, including: Gain Insertion Loss Return Loss Phase Noise Noise Figure AM/FM Modulation PM Modulation Ability to troubleshoot DC, analog, and RF circuits down to the component level. $75,000 Salary KPG123
