We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to support our SJE Rhombus brand. This role will work out of our Detroit Lakes, MN location.

The job:

As our Technical Support Specialist, your primary role will be to assist customers via phone or email with their technical questions about our electrical control panels. You will also accurately process orders along with creating Bill of Materials and electrical schematics. You will maintain customer contact and case records using incident tracking software and generating reports as requested. You will serve as a service contact for our Controls and Level-Sensing Technology products.

The skills, education, and experience you need:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Exceptional communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of product offers
  • A technical mindset and a keen eye for detail
  • Comfortability with computers and software to perform job tasks
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical (not necessary but preferred)
  • Experience building control panels or electrical components
  • The willingness to be part of a team but also be able to work independently

A high school diploma or GED is required. A 2-year degree in Electronics or Electrical Technology or equivalent degree and 1-2 years of experience are preferred.
