Electrical Project Manager / Estimator

$110,000 - $135,000

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator looking to take ownership of projects from initial bid through to completion?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing electrical contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial and industrial projects. You'll play a key role in both winning work and delivering successful projects, working closely with customers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.


The Role

โ€ข Prepare competitive estimates and proposals for commercial and industrial electrical projects

โ€ข Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop accurate project costs

โ€ข Complete quantity take-offs and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers

โ€ข Manage multiple electrical construction projects from award through to final completion

โ€ข Coordinate purchasing of materials and manage project procurement

โ€ข Monitor project schedules, budgets, and financial performance

โ€ข Produce and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, billings, and closeout documentation

โ€ข Support field supervisors and installation teams throughout project delivery

โ€ข Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers

โ€ข Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety


You

โ€ข Have 5+ years' experience in Electrical Project Management, Estimating, or Electrical Construction

โ€ข Can confidently read and interpret electrical drawings and project specifications

โ€ข Have experience preparing project estimates, managing budgets, and negotiating change orders

โ€ข Possess strong communication and customer relationship skills

โ€ข Are highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

โ€ข Are proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Desirable

โ€ข Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience

โ€ข AutoCAD experience

โ€ข Experience with electrical estimating software

โ€ข PE or EIT certification
