ABOUT THE JOB
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI examinations in accordance with American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation guidelines and protocols. The Technologist may also perform additional imaging procedures within their certified scope of practice and demonstrated competency. This role operates under the direct supervision of the MRI Supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical & Technical Duties
Perform MRI procedures in accordance with ACR standards and regulatory guidelines
Adjust imaging protocols based on patient needs and clinical indications
Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and implant safety
Modify technical parameters to optimize image quality
Administer IV contrast media and establish IV access
Select appropriate coils and positioning techniques

Conduct patient pre-screening and preparation
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
