We are looking for an Electrical Control Systems Field Service Technician to support our Altronex brand. This role will work out of our Madison, WI location and requires regular travel throughout Wisconsin and bordering states.

Our Altronex brand is a leading provider of control solutions for the municipal water and wastewater industries, providing custom-engineered control panels, SCADA and telemetry systems, control panel fabrication, systems integration, and field services support. The job:

As our Electrical Control Systems Field Service Technician, you will respond to service calls and support the startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and modification of water and wastewater control systems. You will work directly with contractors, customers, and end users to debug and commission systems, including electrical and mechanical components, programming/software, instrumentation calibration, and system interconnections with other devices or systems.

You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure a strong understanding of our products, project requirements, and schedules. This role requires regular travel throughout Wisconsin and bordering states.

The skills, education, and experience you need:

To succeed in this role, you must have experience with:

  • Troubleshooting electrical control systems
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
  • Working with computers and related software

You must be willing to travel regularly and have a valid driver’s license. A two-year technical degree in a related field and 1–2 years of relevant experience are required.
