Job description

A leading electrical contractor in the Raleigh, NC area is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee healthcare construction projects ranging from $1M-$5M+. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience managing complex, compliance-driven builds for the life sciences industry.
Electrical Construction Project Manager Responsibilities
- Lead electrical construction projects in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet safety, budget, and schedule goals
- Oversee job setup, including job cost budgets, schedule of values, subcontracts, and POs
- Ensure timely procurement of major equipment and accurate submittal processes
- Collaborate with VDC/BIM and prefabrication teams to maximize build efficiency
- Maintain project-specific material logistics plans and quality control standards
- Track change orders, submit RFIs, and manage cost reporting and WIP reviews
- Uphold all safety protocols, site-specific plans, and company compliance standards
- Foster strong relationships with clients, design professionals, and trade partners
Electrical Construction Project Manager Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working for an electrical contractor on healthcare and/or pharmaceutical construction projects valued $1M+
