Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Test Engineer / Compliance Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in product safety, regulatory compliance, and certification testing to join our Power Electronics team. The ideal candidate will support certification projects for renewable energy products, Batteries, Energy storage systems (ESS), EV charging equipment (EVSE), power conversion equipment, and related electrical products.

This role involves conducting compliance evaluations, developing test plans, executing laboratory testing, reviewing product designs, and collaborating with customers throughout the certification process. Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced laboratory environment while supporting innovative technologies in clean energy and electrification.

The candidate will require for the canddiate to travel up to 50%.

Job Description
  • Perform compliance testing, engineering evaluations, and certification of electrical and power electronic products in accordance with North American and international standards.
  • Develop test plans, test procedures, certification documentation, and comprehensive technical reports.
  • Conduct product construction reviews, design evaluations, engineering assessments, and troubleshoot test failures by working with customers to achieve compliance.
  • Execute laboratory testing, analyze test data, and support laboratory operations, including equipment setup, maintenance, calibration, and continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with project engineers, laboratory technicians, quality teams, certification bodies, and customers to ensure successful project execution while maintaining compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 quality requirements.
  • Support witness testing, field evaluations, customer demonstrations, and other technical activities as required while managing project schedules and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Work Experience
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in related area.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in product safety, regulatory compliance, certification, or electrical testing.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and power electronics.
  • Experience with laboratory instrumentation including:
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 50%).
  • Functional safety, Grid code testing experience, Robot certification, Interoperability testing experience are the plus factors.
  • Standard committee member is a plus factor.
