· Team Leadership: Supervise and support outreach staff, ensuring effective execution, consistent communication, strong customer engagement, and achievement of outreach goals and key performance indicators.

· Program Promotion: Promote energy efficiency solutions, program benefits, and available services through direct outreach, presentations, events, and coordinated campaigns.

· Pipeline Management: Oversee outreach pipeline activity, including lead generation, follow-up, opportunity tracking, and transition of customers into program support and delivery.

· Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outreach efforts align with technical services, account management, customer support, and overall program objectives.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

· Lead Outreach Activities: Direct and support outreach to large commercial customers through calls, emails, meetings, site visits, presentations, and events to drive awareness and participation.

· Supervise Outreach Staff: Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and oversight to outreach staff; support training and development; reinforce expectations; and monitor performance against goals and quality standards.

· Develop Outreach Plans: Help establish territory strategies, target customer lists, market priorities, campaign plans, and engagement tactics based on program goals and market opportunities.

· Manage Outreach Pipeline: Track leads, prospects, follow-up actions, referrals, and conversions to maintain an organized and productive customer recruitment pipeline.

· Build Market Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with trade allies, contractors, distributors, business groups, property stakeholders, and other market actors that can support customer recruitment and program visibility.

· Coordinate Educational Events: Organize and participate in workshops, webinars, lunch-and-learns, conferences, and other outreach activities designed to educate customers and promote program participation.

· Ensure Consistent Messaging: Communicate program offerings, customer benefits, eligibility requirements, and next steps clearly and consistently across outreach channels and staff.

· Coordinate with Delivery Teams: Work closely with account managers, engineers, and program staff to ensure qualified customers are transitioned effectively from outreach into program support, technical assistance, and project development.

· Maintain CRM and Tracking Systems: Ensure outreach activities, customer interactions, referrals, and participation status are documented accurately and consistently in CRM and other program tracking tools.

· Gather Market Intelligence: Collect and communicate feedback from customers, trade allies, and market stakeholders regarding barriers, opportunities, trends, and customer needs to inform program strategy.

· Report on Performance: Prepare regular reports and updates on outreach activity, pipeline status, stakeholder engagement, participation progress, and team performance.

· Support Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve outreach strategy, staff effectiveness, customer experience, and market engagement results.

Required Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, environmental studies, energy, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
