The duties and responsibilities of the EHS role are to:
• Establish, maintain and support the site's safety/ergonomics committee.
o Vendor management for sharps, first aid cabinets, AED/Oxygen, machine guarding, etc
• Track facility specific EHS performance and compliance metrics and communicate EHS goals to all site employees.
o Monthly safety updates
o Develop & maintain the RAIL for Near Misses/Safety suggestions
• Ensure EHS metrics are reported monthly to Corporate.
• Complete the appropriate personal and personnel training to remain compliant to current requirements.
o Audio & Vision testing, coordinate respiratory testing & training, First Aid, CPR/AED, BBP
• Update the learning management system training modules as required; release new required training courses and dates to maintain compliance with CalOSHA, Federal and Corporate requirements.
