Safety Manager

Location: Anaheim, CA


Our customer is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and maintain workplace safety programs across the organization. This position will ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable California safety regulations while promoting a strong safety culture both at the company facility and at various construction job sites.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company safety policies and programs.
  • Conduct new-hire safety orientations and onboarding training on-site at the company.
  • Conduct additional off-site safety walkthroughs and inspections at various construction job sites.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and other applicable safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and employee training.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Identify potential hazards and work with management and field teams to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain safety records, documentation, and required reports.
  • Partner with operations, management, and field personnel to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Provide ongoing safety guidance and support to employees working in both facility and construction environments.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, or production environment. (5 years- minimum experience in construction EHS field) (Must be licensed and able to drive a company vehicle.)
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA/Cal-OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
  • Experience conducting new-hire safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training.
  • Experience performing job-site safety inspections and walkthroughs. (Knowledge of scaffolding installation and inspection)
  • Experience with incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety documentation.
  • Familiarity with the ISN contractor management network is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or other safety-related certifications are a plus. (OSHA 500) (First Aid- CPR- AED Certified)
