Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is a leading provider of cryogenic pumps, heat exchangers, process systems, services, and solutions for the LNG and industrial gases industry. Nikkiso ACD is an engineering and manufacturing company specializing in machinery designed to operate at cryogenic temperatures as low as โ€“ 420 degrees Fahrenheit, the boiling point of Liquid hydrogen. For over 50 years, Nikkiso ACD has specialized in centrifugal and reciprocating pumps as well as turbines for air separation. Nikkiso ACD has the most diversified product line in the industry covering nearly every application requiring pumps or turboexpanders.

This position is based at Nikkiso ACD, LLC, located in Santa Ana, CA.


  • Develop and execute projects, report on project status, monitor project performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams, create work instructions, and assign process flows, lead kick-off meetings, and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Continuously assess and improve program management processes, drive continuous development of the program, and develop and implement tools and processes to manage project risk, estimates, costs, and resources.
  • Align program and project execution to the organizational and global goals, monitor compliance with policies and standards if applicable, and communicate status of active projects or assignments.
  • Ensure implementation of Company Standards and Workplace Guidelines are embedded into the project delivery process.
  • Develop and generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, relevant KPIs, team members and team structure, processes and process improvements, and feedback from end users.

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Management, Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in real estate and facilities or engineering
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work with Project Managers to develop a project execution plan.
  • Advanced level of critical thinking, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to make effective decisions independently with minimal escalation to or supervision from manager.

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:

  • Must possess exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of project management standards and best practices
  • Must possess data management and problem-solving expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with performance management and ability to evaluate situations quickly and accurately

  • Experience and Education:
  • Five years of engineering product/project management experience required
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree is preferred

Work Environmental and Physical Demands:

  • In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls
  • Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include week days, weekends, nights and/or holidays
  • Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel to a Client's office, production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply
  • Lifting up to 30 lbs. may be required

Environmental Safety Requirements

  • New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety Awareness
  • All safety related training is provided and tracked by the EHS Director
  • Job specific training modules deemed necessary by employeeโ€™s Manager or Director will be required of all employees on an ongoing basis
  • Employees are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed. PPEs include, safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats & dust masks. Failure to comply with Nikkiso safety requirements will result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.

Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 annually
