Job Summary
This leader has operational accountability and oversight, and manages the daily activities of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) training department or area. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals. Responsible for scope management, implementation goals, and project delivery, as well as managing project resources and metrics for significant organization-wide projects. Manages training and development for project implementation. Communicates training policies and procedures. Coordinates role analysis, which maps staff and providers to required training. Coordinates all classroom and equipment aspects of virtual training for staff. Manages super user and Epic Educator onboarding and engagement throughout projects and oversees the activities.
Required Qualifications
- Require Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Science, Engineering, or Health Care-related field.
- Require a minimum of three (3) years of project management and/or program leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer previous experience in Healthcare (Hospital or Health Insurance), Insurance, Technology, or Financial Services working in areas of project management and implementation.
- Prefer proven track record in implementation of system-wide projects, as well as, experience implementing complex processes and solutions and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prefer Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience.
- Prefer ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
- Prefer effective communication and management skills in order to guide direct reports, influence stakeholders and maintain positive relationships across cross-functional areas.
- Prefer self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills.
- Prefer existing knowledge of organizational culture, personnel, and processes.
- Prefer ability to develop and adhere to schedules in order to meet deadlines.
- Prefer EpicCare Trainer Certification.
