Arthrex is searching for a Technology Consultant for Naples, Florida, to manage and service all Arthrex product lines. Arthrex is a privately held, innovation-driven global leader in sports medicine and minimally invasive orthopedic solutions, with a dominant position in soft-tissue repair and arthroscopy, with a growing presence in adjacent orthopedic segments distinguished by its development of advanced surgical products and techniques that address complex clinical challenges. The successful candidate will continue to build relationships with all customers within Collier County, Florida, and internal departments by hitting sales goals and continuing market growth. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills in addition to five or more years of related experience and a bachelor's degree are essential for this position. MAIN OBJECTIVE:
Works with Naples Sales Manager to:
  • Ensure maximized revenue growth of assigned company products and services through direct management in Collier County.
  • Establish proper and effective communications with appropriate staff across the company to ensure the proper level of sensitivity to the needs of sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works within an assigned geographic sales and product area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives:
      • Carries out specific plans developed by the Regional Director, Naples Sales Manager and company to ensure revenue growth in company's products.
      • Manages assigned account activities and sales.
      • Communicates regular field activity to Regional Director, Naples Sales Manager and other internal management.
      • Completes LMS self-education requirements.
  • Develops Technology Specialists and Sales Associates:
      • Monitors and assists in the activities of direct sales associates (product training, coaching representatives, TC program and motivates).
      • Educates sales associates in terms of sales tactics.
  • Recommends sales programs and training ideas to Regional Director and Naples Sales Manager to address the following issues:
      • New and existing account sales growth.
      • Sales of new and existing products and multi-product sales.
      • Competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns.
      • Proper use and level of sales support.
      • Account and Third-party contracts.
  • Performs sales activities on accounts and negotiates product pricing discounts pre-approved by the Regional Director and VP of Sales.
  • Has completed all required Technology Consultant training.
  • This job requires that a person may travel from time to time and occasionally work on weekends.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of Arthrex, Arthrex agency, or competitive sports medicine, arthroscopy, extremity and/or product sales experience required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
• Knowledge of company's products, pricing practices, and selling skills.
• Effective management skills with ability to manage the company's sales operations.
• Effective time management, communications, decision making, presentation, and organization skills.
• Excellent writing, editing, communications, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and presentation required.
Machine, Tools, and or/ Equipment Skills:
Strong knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office. PC's and various software languages used as required. Salesforce.com experience a plus.
