What is an educational measurement?

Strong skills in psychometrics, data analysis, and research methods are typically required.

What are some typical career paths for professionals in educational measurement?

Professionals in Educational Measurement often begin in roles such as assessment specialist or psychometrician, designing and analyzing educational tests and assessments. With experience, they may advance to senior or lead psychometrician positions, overseeing test development teams or managing large-scale assessment programs for school districts, testing companies, or government agencies. Some move into research or policy advising roles, while others pursue academic careers as faculty members.
