Overview
Responsible for development and implementation of various clinical and operational education services. Is responsible for ensuring that quality, safety, and service are the primary focus of professional development activities. Provides clinical supervision and evaluation of patient care related to specialty and service line and actively facilitates and influences direct patient care by advancing the practice skills and knowledge of the direct care providers. Participates in the division's strategic planning activities as requested.

Qualifications
Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of APRN program or Graduate of accredited PA program with Master's or commensurate management experience Required
Work Experience
  • 3 years APRN or PA experience in the specialty field of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine with demonstrated clinical competence and managerial abilities Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • APRN-BC - Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Board Certified Current licensure as an APRN in the state of Georgia. National Certification and membership in an appropriate professional organization related to practice Upon Hire Required or
  • PA - Physician Assistant Current licensure as a PA in the state of Georgia. National Certification and membership in appropriate professional organization related to practice Upon Hire Required
