Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing the overall marketing strategy for Insignia Event Services and its affiliated businesses, venues, events, and revenue-generating initiatives. This role serves as the central marketing leader, developing integrated marketing plans that drive brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth across both B2B and B2C audiences.
The Marketing Manager will oversee all aspects of marketing strategy, digital marketing, content development, social media, website management, creative execution, and marketing operations. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and requires a strong understanding of customer acquisition, brand management, campaign development, content marketing, and digital channels.
As a people leader, the Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and developing marketing team members, external agencies, freelancers, and vendor partners while establishing efficient processes, workflows, and performance standards that support business objectives. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, data-driven marketer with strong project management skills who can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Primary Job Duties:
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute annual and long-term marketing strategies aligned with company growth, revenue, and business objectives.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns supporting venue bookings, events, business development, and brand growth.
  • Establish budgets, KPIs, forecasting, and performance measurement frameworks; analyze results and recommend optimizations.
  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to identify market opportunities and ensure strategic alignment.

Team Leadership & Process Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Manage internal staff, agencies, contractors, and creative partners to maximize team effectiveness.
  • Establish and improve marketing workflows, project management processes, and communication practices.
  • Oversee resource allocation, project execution, and quality standards to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

Digital Marketing
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Manage email marketing, audience segmentation, marketing automation, CRM integrations, and lead generation programs.
  • Partner with sales and business development teams to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance through testing, reporting, SEO, and digital advertising.

Content Strategy, Creative & Brand Management
  • Maintain brand consistency across messaging, visual identity, customer experience, and marketing channels.
  • Develop content strategies and editorial plans that drive awareness, engagement, lead generation, and event promotion.
  • Oversee creation of marketing collateral, sales materials, presentations, advertising, and promotional assets.
  • Establish content standards and collaborate with creative partners to deliver high-quality, engaging content.

Social Media & Content Operations
  • Lead organic and paid social media strategies across all brands, venues, and events.
  • Develop and manage content calendars, publishing schedules, and platform-specific engagement strategies.
  • Oversee content production, including photography, videography, event coverage, and storytelling.
  • Monitor trends and manage influencer, media, and community partnerships to expand audience reach and brand visibility.

Website Strategy & Development
  • Own website strategy, content, functionality, and ongoing optimization across all company websites.
  • Oversee website updates, landing pages, user experience enhancements, and content management.
  • Ensure sites are optimized for SEO, accessibility, mobile performance, lead generation, and conversions.
  • Monitor analytics and collaborate with developers and vendors to drive continuous improvement.

Partnerships, Public Relations & Event Marketing
  • Build and manage relationships with media, sponsors, community organizations, influencers, and strategic partners.
  • Lead PR, media outreach, and promotional initiatives that increase brand visibility and support growth objectives.
  • Support planning and execution of company events, activations, and venue marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate event-related marketing assets, communications, partnerships, and promotional opportunities.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and new business opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of progressive marketing experience with responsibility for strategy development and campaign execution.
  • Previous experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in both B2B and B2C marketing environments.
  • Strong experience with digital marketing, social media, content strategy, email marketing, and website management.
  • Experience developing and managing marketing budgets and performance reporting.
  • Knowledge of SEO, analytics platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to drive business decisions and marketing performance.
  • Experience building relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, agencies, and vendors.
