As a Video Editor for The James Agency your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating and executing a ย variety of video projects across multiple platforms, including editing existing and new video footage for multiple ย uses. You will collaborate with other teams to deliver high-quality video work, working closely with the video team, ย other creatives, copywriters, and members of the media and digital teams. Having a team-oriented mentality and ย understanding of how your role and work contributes to the broader integrated experience is essential. You must ย be versatile and multifaceted, with a passion for problem-solving with creativity and an eye for detail. The ideal ย candidate will have a strong focus on video production and organic social media content. ย 

Skills and Experience ย 


To succeed in this role, you will need:ย 

  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor ย 
  • Proficiency in using digital technology and editing software packages, such as Premiere Pro, Da VInci Resolve and After Effects. ย 
  • A clean and well-presented portfolio showcasing video editing skills ย 
  • In-depth understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity in film editing ย 
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D elements, and compositing ย
