Job description

Content Development & Digital Storytelling:

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Communications, this position will research, write, and publish news stories and other written communications that promote the College of Nursing's academic programs, research, students, faculty, and community impact.
  • Create multimedia content, including short-form video, photography, and graphics, for the college website, social media, and digital communications.

Website Content Management and Digital Communications:

  • Maintain and enhance the College of Nursing website by creating and updating content, managing faculty and staff profiles, maintaining the events calendar, implementing website updates, improving SEO and accessibility, and producing digital communications, including the biweekly employee newsletter and Faculty Digest submissions.

Social Media Content Management:

  • Develop, schedule, and publish content across college platforms; monitor and respond to audience engagement; track performance metrics; and identify trends to inform content strategies that support recruitment, brand awareness, and audience engagement.

Marketing Project Coordination and Creative Services:

  • Coordinate college marketing projects and requests, manage workflow and promotional item inventory, collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to gather content, design marketing materials, maintain digital asset libraries, and ensure that communications comply with university brand standards, editorial guidelines, and AP style.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability and experience creating written, visual, and multimedia content for websites, social media, and digital communications.
