Job description

The Nova Marketing Agency is a boutique social media and paid advertising agency based in the Phoenix/San Tan Valley area, working with small businesses across the East Valley. We're looking for a contract videographer to take over on-location filming for a growing roster of clients — think restaurants, retail, and local service businesses — with content built around Reels and short-form video.

What you'll do:

  • Film weekly content on-location for 2–3 clients to start (restaurant and wellness/retail brands in the East Valley area)
  • Shoot against pre-built content briefs (shot lists, concepts, and brand voice guides provided ahead of every shoot)
  • Capture a mix of b-roll, talking-head, product/food close-ups, and staff-featured content
  • Work directly with our content team to flag any gaps between what's briefed and what's shot

What we're looking for:

  • Experience shooting short-form vertical video for social media (Reels/TikTok-style content)
  • Own camera/gear/mics and editing-adjacent shooting instincts (good lighting, stable footage, social-ready framing)
  • Reliable and local to the Phoenix/East Valley/Queen Creek area — this is on-location, in-person filming
  • Comfortable working from a structured brief and hitting a weekly shoot schedule
  • Bonus: experience with restaurant, retail, or wellness brands

Details:

  • Contract/freelance, ongoing weekly work
