We are currently seeking an eDiscovery Project Manager to operate at the forefront of legal technology and innovation. This role partners with case teams and clients to lead the eDiscovery process end to end, including project planning, data collection, processing, workflow optimization, and delivery of defensible, high-quality results.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking legal technology professional with experience in eDiscovery systems, relational databases, and data manipulation, who is collaborative, curious, and energized by solving complex discovery challenges through technology.

This position can be based in Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Indianapolis, IN; Louisville, KY, Nashville, TN; or Pittsburgh, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultation and strategic guidance to attorneys and business professionals throughout the eDiscovery process, including data preservation, collection strategies, and defensible, cost-effective workflows.
  • Utilize Relativity One, dtSearch, analytics, and AI tools to process, analyze, search, and produce litigation documents in compliance with FRCP, ESI agreements, and client specifications.
  • Build, test and deploy Relativity One workspaces, templates, dashboards, views, and structured review workflows to support case teams efficiently.
  • Perform advanced Relativity Searches (dtSearch, Analytics, and concept clustering) to support culling and review refinement.
  • Guide and mentor eDiscovery Analysts and Litigation Support Specialists on advanced workflows, ensuring defensibility, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and client IT to design data maps, legal holds, and preservation workflows for multiple data sources.
  • Track and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Support onboarding, training, troubleshooting, and ongoing use of eDiscovery platforms for case teams and document reviewers.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging eDiscovery and GenAI technologies, advising teams on safe, ethical, and defensible implementation to optimize review efficiency.
  • Implement and standardize best practices across offices, continuously improving workflows, quality control, and technology adoption.
  • Manage data transfer, storage, and compliance with firm policies, while participating in post-project analyses to identify process improvements.
  • Create compelling presentations, graphics, timelines, and visualizations to support trials, mediations, or client deliverables.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Legal Technology required. Large law firm or vendor experience preferred.
  • RCA (Relativity Certified Administrator) certification preferred.
  • ACEDS (Certified E-Discovery Specialist) certification preferred.
  • Experience with Technology-Assisted Review and Predictive Coding preferred.
  • Well-developed analysis methods and techniques for the management of projects containing electronically stored information (ESI).
  • Experience with capturing web sites, on-line videos, video editing and general graphics is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting on-premises and cloud-based relation databases and document review platforms such as Everlaw and Relativity.
  • Knowledge of structured data systems for Document Review Databases and an understanding of how to ensure the integrity and defensibility of both unstructured and structured data.
  • Experience using Regular Expressions and DTSearch to manipulate large data sets.
  • Working understanding of GenAI concepts, including prompt engineering, prompt validation, hallucination detection, semantic search, embeddings, classification models, and applied LLM technologies in legal workflows.
  • Ability to translate case team questions into effective GenAI queries while aligning results with defensibility expectations under FRCP, Model Rules, and case law.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, organize and prioritize issues and workload, and a proven ability to manage time and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work situations, grasp and apply new ideas, and be able to communicate with various personalities at all levels of management and staff in solving problems quickly and effectively.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills necessary to interact in an effective and professional manner with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, staff and outside vendors and consultants.
  • Ability to travel within the firm’s footprint and work extended hours, including nights and weekends.
