Job Overview

A growing distribution business is looking for a D365 F&O / IT Developer to join their team in Cleveland, Ohio. Due to continued sales growth and increasing project demand, they are expanding their technology team and need an experienced developer to support their existing Developer/Architect. This is an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale D365 Commerce and Finance & Operations solutions, helping drive innovation across a leading B2B eCommerce platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support custom solutions within D365 Commerce and D365 Finance & Operations.
  • Build and maintain integrations with D365, Avalara (Avatax), EDI platforms, and external APIs including payment, shipping, and punchout systems.
  • Support key order management processes including pricing, invoicing, surcharges, and fulfilment workflows.
  • Manage source control, deployments, code reviews, and release processes through Azure DevOps.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and proactively improve system performance, code quality, and technical debt.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on architecture decisions, sprint planning, and ongoing platform enhancements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, testing standards, and development best practices.

Experience

  • 5–8 years of software development experience.
  • 3– years of hands-on experience with D365 Commerce if you don’t have this that is not an issue you will get training.
  • Strong B2B eCommerce experience including pricing, trade agreements, catalogs, punchout, and order management processes.
  • Proficiency in X, C#, Commerce SDK, and CSU extensions.
  • Experience integrating D365 F&O and Commerce using OData, data entities, batch jobs, and Synapse Link.
  • Strong Azure DevOps experience including source control, CI/CD, and work item management.
  • Experience debugging complex integrations across D365, EDI, tax, and payment systems.
  • Solid SQL Server and data warehousing knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and work collaboratively in an on-site environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Avalara (Avatax) integration experience.
  • EDI implementation and support experience.
  • E-commerce search and catalog optimization expertise.
  • Payment gateway and surcharge logic experience (e.g. SensePOS).
  • Microsoft D365 Commerce and/or F&O certifications.
