We need someone who can handle the full scope of EDI architecture. An EDI Architect is a senior IT professional responsible for designing, implementing, and managing EDI system integrations. These systems enable businesses to electronically exchange critical documents โ€” such as invoices, purchase orders, and shipping notices โ€” with partners, suppliers, and customers.ย 

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a good level of expertise in one or more technical environments (software packages, programming language, database, operating system), and a good knowledge of EDI Solutionย 
  • Responsible for quality of solution in each environment and for each trading partnerย 
  • Coordinate with related work streams / teams including infrastructure teams, Customer Service Division and Manufacturing

Skills Required

  • SQL Server, Unix, Linux

Skills Preferred

  • Mainframe Systems

Experience Required

  • 6-10 yrs of experience in IT; 4+ yrs in concentration Solution Architecture, Unix, Network Protocols & Standards, Session Initiation Protocols, GCP, EDI mapping tools
  • Perform systems tuning and diagnostics on UNIX, LINUX and WINDOWS platformsย 
  • 5+ years of experience in a wide range of business areas of supply chain management including system development, business intelligence, business processes and customer relations.ย 
  • 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Application Integration, middleware, or other integration experience.ย 
  • 5+ years of experience with architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, uml diagrams, network connectivity and communication protocolsย 
  • Proficiency with EDI mapping tools, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, UNIX. LINUX, Windows, SQL Server, MQ Series

Experience Preferred

  • Familiarity with web and mainframe applications- Mainframe Systems

Education Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
