In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
• Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
• Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
• Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
• Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
• Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer
Your contribution to the team:
• Knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, along with sector focus
• The ability to handle end to end ERP package customization and implementation
• A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• A passion for design and hands-on coding experience
• A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
Required Skill and Experience
• EDI analysis, mapping, integrations, and trading partner onboarding.
• Experience with EDI transactions (ANSI X12: 850/855/856/810/820/830/862/997; EDIFACT equivalents).
• Experience in EDI map development using ITXA, Sterling Integrator, Seeburger, or similar tools.
• Build and maintain canonical maps, partner-specific variants, transformations, validations, and lookup/cross-reference tables.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot EDI envelope structures (ISA/GS/GE/IEA; UNB/UNZ, UNG/UNE) with proper control numbers and compliance rules.
Preferred Skill and Experience
• Set up and manage partner profiles, routing rules, envelope settings, and communication parameters in integration middleware.
• Facilitate partner working sessions to finalize mapping logic, enveloping standards, acknowledgements (997/CONTRL), and exception-handling flows.
• Drive connectivity and handshake testing (AS2, SFTP, VAN, APIs), including certificate exchange, encryption, and security controls.
• Provide production support for EDI failures, reprocessing, message tracking, acknowledgements, and SLA-driven issue resolution.
Additional Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
