This position is onsite and is responsible for creating, maintaining, and testing mapping solutions to maintain a positive business relationship with trading partners.Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. Skills/ Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3–4 years of hands‑on experience with EDI mapping and communication protocols
  • 3–4 years of experience working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
  • 3–4 years of SAP IDoc development and integration experience
  • 3–4 years of experience in XML development and data transformation
  • Strong understanding of EDI standards, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT
  • Hands‑on EDI mapping experience in a manufacturing or retail environment
  • Experience working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
  • Experience supporting core EDI transactions, including X12 850, 855, 856, and 810
  • SAP IDoc experience with ORDERS, DELVRY, and INVOIC
  • Basic understanding of computer communications and integrations, including FTP, AS1, AS2, and network file sharing
  • Familiarity with SAP document flows and EDI/SAP error handling processes
  • Additional X12, EDIFACT, or VDA transaction experience
