Optima is currently seeking an eClinicalWorks (eCW) Trainer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for delivering hands-on EMR training and ongoing education to support front office staff, back office staff, and providers across our clinic locations. The eCW Trainer will work closely with multiple departments and the IT team to optimize workflows, support system implementations, and ensure that all users are equipped to leverage eClinicalWorks effectively in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide best-practice training for new users as well as continuing education using eClinicalWorks for Front Office, Back Office and Providers, with both at-the-elbow support and remote training sessions.
  • Collaborate with the IT Department on EMR help-desk tickets.
  • Management of eClinicalWorks ePrescription and EPCS licensing application and onboarding for providers.
  • Participation in eClinicalWorks full implementation projects, which includes migration from an existing EMR system to eClinicalWorks.
  • Optimize workflows for providers, staff, and clinics.
  • Assist with collecting and sending training checklists.
  • Collaboration in innovation projects designed to maximize process efficiencies that ultimately improve patient care.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects at various stages of development.
  • Assist with Training and Development and Admin tasks as needed.
Job Qualifications:
  • eCW experience required.
  • Thorough understanding of EMR workflows for front office, back office, billing, and providers.
  • Proficiency using the eClinicalWorks support ticket system
  • Confidence in group presenting
  • Mastery of providing remote training and support via Microsoft Teams.
  • Traveling between clinics in Nevada is required.
